Resin is an excellent choice for many casting applications.  It is a strong, durable material that can reproduce fine detail.  A variety of pigments and fillers can create many different effects.

Plaster and other gypsum products are a low cost and versatile casting material that is well suited for a variety of statuary, architectural details and some outdoor applications.  Plaster can be painted or pigmented to achieve many desired looks.

Concrete is a strong, weather-resistant material that is used for outdoor castings.  Garden statuary and stepping stones are examples of projects that could be cast in concrete.

Petracast is a stone-like material that can imitate the look of natural stone.  It is economical and easy to cast.
