DH-1877 - FIRE DRAGON MATERIALS NEEDED: Greenware, Various Brushes, Clear Glaze, Liquid Bright Gold, SP-02 Mask-It, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS: DH-08 Black, DH-19 Light
Gray, DH-12 Leather Brown, DH-22 Christmas Red, DH-03 True Orange, DH-10 Mustard, DH-01 Daffodil, DH-29 White, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-37 Cream, DH-52 Cranberry, DH-38 Grass Green.
- Step 1: Clean greenware carefully and Fire to Cone 03. Apply 3 coats of Clear Glaze to belly and ridge down back. Fire to Cone 05. Use a brush reserved for Gold and apply to glazed areas. Fire
to Cone 018.
- Step 2: Basecoat entire Dragon and rock with Black. Wet-brush all rock areas with Light Gray. Apply washes of Leather Brown and Country Blue to rocks. Highlight with Cream. Wet-brush leaves on small
rock with Grass Green and then highlight with Mustard.
- Step 3: Wet-brush dragon Leather Brown. Add Christmas Red to same brush and wet-brush Dragon again. Highlight with True Orange. Add Mustard to same brush and highlight around face, knees and edges of
wings. Wet-brush Daffodil on hair on top of head and under neck. Paint eyes Mustard with Black pupils. Tongue is Christmas Red and teeth are painted Cream. Shade entire dragon with Cranberry. Shade
all rocks with a Black wash. Apply Mask-It to Gold areas and spray with Matte Spray Sealer.
- Step 4: Peel off Mask-It from Gold.
DH-1880 - WIZARD HAND MATERIALS NEEDED: Greenware, Various Brushes, Clear Glaze, Liquid Bright Gold, SP-02 Mask-It, Matte Spray Sealer, Oil Lamp. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS: DH-08 Black, DH-26
Lexington Green, DH-38 Grass Green, DH-41 Willow Green, DH-15 Mystic Purple, DH-43 Teal, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-27 Midnight Blue.
- Step 1: Clean greenware and Fire to Cone 03. Apply 3 coats of Clear Glaze to ring and fingernails and Fire to Cone 05. Brush on Liquid Bright Gold to glazed areas and Fire to Cone 018.
- Step 2: Basecoat entire hand Black. Wet-brush cuff with Mystic Purple, Teal and Country Blue. (Refer to photo.) Shade cuff with Midnight Blue.
- Step 3: Wet-brush hand with Lexington Green and then with Grass Green. Highlight hand lightly with Willow Green. Apply Mask-It to Gold areas and then spray with Matte Spray Sealer. Remove Mask-It and
insert Oil Lamp.

- Step 1: Clean greenware carefully and Fire to Cone 03. Apply 3 coats of Clear Glaze to area to be Gold. (Refer to Photo.) Fire to Cone 05. Apply Liquid Bright Gold to glazed areas and fire to
Cone 018.
- Step 2: Basecoat piece with Black. Wet-brush rocks with Light Gray. Apply washes of Mystic Purple and Midnight Blue to rocks and then highlight edges with Cream.
- Step 3: Wet-brush tree trunk with Real Brown. Add Toast to same brush and highlight trunk. Wet-brush smooth part of trunk with Flaxon Yellow and then shade with Toast.
- Step 4: Wet-brush belly of dragon with turquoise and then shade down each side of belly with Mystic Purple. Wet-brush body of dragon with Teal. Highlight body with Turquoise. Highlight again very
lightly with lavender. Shade body with Midnight Blue.
- Step 5: Paint eyes Mystic Purple with a Black pupil. Paint tongue Christmas Red and teeth Cream. Rub Fingertip Gold on detail area of collar and around neck. Apply Mask-It to Gold areas and spray
with Matte Spray Sealer. Remove Mask-It.

- Step 2: Wet-brush dragon with Mystic Purple adding White to highlight. Wet-brush face and legs with Mystic Purple and White in brush, add Blue Suede to same areas. Highlight spikes of hair on dragon with
Flaxon Yellow and washes of Blue Suede. Shade dragon with Midnight Blue. Wet-brush wings with Blue Suede and highlight with Flaxon Yellow, add washes of Mystic Purple to shaded areas.
- Step 3: Wet-brush rocks with Dark Gray and add washes of Country Blue, Mystic Purple, Toast and wet-brush Cream over washes. Shade rocks with Black.
- Step 4: Wet-brush tree stump with Real Brown highlights with Toast. Wet-brush bark with Flaxon Yellow highlight with Cream. Shade with Black.
- Step 5: Apply Mask-It to Fired-On Gold. Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

with White. Paint tongue with True Red. Paint teeth Cream. Paint eyes Country Blue. Shade areas with Midnight Blue and shade areas and face with Black.
- Step 3: Wet-brush castle and rocks Light Gray. Shade rocks with washes of True Orange, Mystic Purple and Country Blue. Wet-brush with cream. Shade bricks with Country Blue then a True Orange wash.
Wet-brush Bone
- on bricks. Shade inside windows with True Orange. Shade castle and rocks with Black. Wet-brush water with Midnight Blue add white to highlight waves. Paint White on top of waves. Shade with
Midnight Blue.
- Step 4: Apply Mask-It to Fired-On Gold. Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

- Step 1: Basecoat maiden's skin with Soft Brown. Antique with Soft Brown Translucent. Wipe off while still wet. Paint hair with Toast. Add washes of Leather Brown and highlight with
Daffodil. Shade with Real Brown. Paint wash of Cranberry on lips. Paint pupils Black. Paint iris' with a wash of Midnight Blue with White to highlight. Chalk cheeks.
- Step 2: Paint robe with Turquoise and highlight with Cream. Shade with Midnight Blue.
- Step 3: Paint dress Butter Cream and highlight with Cream. Shade with Lavender. Paint belt with Mystic Purple shade with Midnight Blue.
- Step 4: Basecoat dragon with Teal and belly with Lavender. Highlight dragon with Turquoise. Shade with Midnight Blue. Wet-brush belly with Lavender, highlight with cream also apply to nose, hair and feet
on dragon. Shade belly with Mystic Purple. Paint eyes True Red.
- Step 5: Wet-brush rocks with Dark Gray, add washes of Mystic Purple, Midnight Blue and True Orange. Wet-brush Cream then shade with Black.
- Step 6: Apply Mask-It to Fired-On Gold. Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.
- Step 7: Apply White Pearl Stain on belly of dragon and sponge White Pearl Stain on dress. Apply Brush-On Blue Glitter to robe.
