DH-1872 - 7' Knoll Lighthouse MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS:  DH-08 Black, DH-04 True Red, DH-29 White, DH-27 Midnight Blue, DH-42 Dark Gray, DH-19 Light Gray, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-25 Toast, DH-37 Cream.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:  Basecoat entire piece Black.  Wet-brush lighthouse walls with 2-3 coats of True Red.  Paint inside door Dark Gray and inside of windows White with Black trim.
• Step 3:  Wet-brush rocks Light Gray.  Apply washes of Toast and Country Blue to rocks and highlight with Cream.
• Wet-brush water with Midnight Blue and add increasing amounts of White to same brush and highlight water.  Shade piece with a Black wash.  Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

DH-1870 - Alcatraz Lighthouse MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS:  DH-08 Black, DH-42 Dark Gray, DH-19 Light Gray, DH-04 True Red, DH-38 Grass Green, DH-25 Toast, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-37 Cream, DH-27 Midnight Blue, DH-09 Real Brown, DH-18 Medium Brown, DH-29 White, DH-10 Mustard.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:  Basecoat entire piece Black.  Wet-brush lighthouse walls first with Dark Gray and then with Light Gray.  Wet-brush roof tops with True Red.  Paint inside of windows and door Black.
• Step 3:  Wet-brush rocks with Light Gray.  Apply washes of Toast and Country Blue to rocks and highlight with Cream.  Wet-brush grass areas with Grass Green.  Add Mustard to same brush and highlight.  Wet-brush  sandy cliffs with Real Brown and then Medium Brown.
• Step 4:  Wet-brush water Midnight Blue and add increasing amounts of White to same brush and highlight water.

DH-1869 - Thomas Point Lighthouse MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS:  DH-08 Black, DH-29 White, DH-09 Real Brown, DH-18 Medium Brown, DH-04 True Red, DH-19 Light Gray, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-25 Toast, DH-37 Cream, DH-27 Midnight Blue.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware carefully and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:  Basecoat base and all roof tops Black.  Basecoat walls of lighthouse with Real Brown.  Wet-brush walls with Cream. Wet-brush roof tops with True Red.  The very top of lighthouse remains Black.  Shade roof tops with Black and walls with Real Brown.  Paint inside windows with Black.
• Step 3:  Wet-brush top of base Real Brown and wood supports Medium Brown.  Wet-brush rocks Light Gray.  Apply washes of Toast and Country Blue to rocks and then highlight with Cream.  Wet-brush water with Midnight Blue and then add increasing amounts of White to same brush and highlight water.  Paint side of small boat True Red.  Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

DH-1871 - Heceta Head Lighthouse MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS:  DH-08 Black, DH-29 White, DH-04 True Red, DH-42 Dark Gray, DH-19 Light Gray, DH-38 Grass Green, DH-10 Mustard, DH-25 Toast, DH-30 Country Blue, DH-37 Cream, DH-27 Midnight Blue, DH-15 Mystic Purple.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware carefully and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:  Basecoat walls of lighthouse with White and roof tops, windows and doors with Black.  Wet-brush roof tops with True Red.  Paint around bottom of lighthouse Dark Gray.
• Step 3:  Basecoat base with Black.  Wet-brush all rocks with Light Gray.  Add washes of Toast and Country Blue to rocks and then highlight with Cream.
• Step 4:  Wet-brush grass, bushes and trees with Grass Green.  Add Mustard to same brush and highlight.
• Wet-brush water with Midnight Blue and then add increasing amounts of White to same brush and highlight.  Shade water randomly with Mystic Purple.  Shade all other areas with a Black wash.  Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

DH-1896 - Navesink Lighthouse MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Matte Spray Sealer. DOC HOLLIDAY COLORS:  DH-08 Black, DH-29 White, DH-12 Leather Brown, DH-04 True Red, DH-09 Real Brown, DH-18 Medium Brown, DH-38 Grass Green, DH-10 Mustard, DH-42 Dark Gray, DH-27 Midnight Blue, DH-37 Cream.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware carefully and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:  Basecoat lighthouse and base with Black.  Wet-brush all brick areas on front and back of lighthouse with Leather Brown.  Add True Red to same brush and wet-brush again.  Wet-brush all roof tops with Dark Gray.  Paint inside windows and door Black.  Paint trim inside windows with Dark Gray.
• Step 3:  Wet-brush grass, trees, bushes and base with Grass Green.  Add Mustard to same brush and highlight these areas.
• Step 4:  Wet-brush sandy areas of base with Real Brown then add Medium Brown to same brush and wet-brush again.  Pick-up a little Cream to same brush and highlight.
• Step 5:  Wet-brush water with Midnight Blue and then add White to same brush and lighten water.  (Refer to flyer.)  Shade lighthouse and base with Black, using a 1/2" Shader Brush.  Spray with Matte Spray Sealer.

DH-1895 - Lighthouse TableTop MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Desired Doc Holliday Glazes.

• Step 1:  Each segment is painted with 3 coats of the desired Designer Glaze color onto Cone 03 bisque.  Fire to Cone 05.  Then either use commercial groat (as for bathroom tiles) in the groves; or apply 1 coat Clear Glaze over entire table top; let dry; then wipe glaze off the tiles, leaving it in the grooves and fire to Cone 05 again.

DH-1922 - Lighthouse Coaster Top MATERIALS NEEDED:  Greenware, Various Brushes, Coaster Pads. DOC HOLLIDAY GLAZES:  DG217 English Grey, DG205 Yellow, DG212 Ocean Blue, DG203 Earth Red, DG218 Black, CG300 Clear Glaze.

• Step 1:  Clean greenware and Fire to Cone 03.
• Step 2:   Apply one coat DG217 English Grey to Coasters.  Apply 3 coats DG205 Yellow to windows.  Apply 1 coat DG212 Ocean Blue to water.  Apply 3 coats DG203 Earth Red to roof and insets of top part of lighthouse.  Apply 3 coats DG218 Black on black trim areas.
• Step 3:  Apply 2 coats Clear Glaze CG300 on coasters.
• Step 4:  Fire to Cone 05.
• Step 5:  Stick cork inserts in coasters.
