DH1664 BLACK CHRISTMAS ANGEL MATERIALS & COLORS NEEDED: greenware, various brushes, SP08 Matte Spray, FT02
Fingertip Gold, Ultra Fine Glitter, SP03 Gloss It, SP07 Krackle It, AT02 Black Brown Translucent, AT05 Soft Brown Translucent, DH08 Black, DH18 Medium Brown, DH26 Lexington Green, DH29 White, DH35 Powder Blue, DH37 Cream,

- STEP 1:
Basecoat skin Medium Brown. Antique with Black Brown Translucent.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat dress and clouds White. Antique dress with Soft Brown Translucent. Wetbrush dress with White to highlight folds. Tint clouds lightly with a wash of Powder Blue.
- STEP 3:
Basecoat wings White. Shade between wing sections, first with a Powder Blue wash, then with a Cranberry wash.
- STEP 4:
Basecoat shawl, upper and lower dress Cranberry. With color still in your brush, add increasing amounts of Cream and highlight folds and edges of shawl.
- STEP 5:
Basecoat leaves Willow Green. Apply a wash of Lexington Green over the leaves to "antique" them. Highlight edges of leaves with Willow Green lightened with White. Shade centers of leaves
and paint veins with Shadow Green. Paint flower White; shade center of petals with a Cranberry wash. Paint centers Premier Gold.
- STEP 6:
Paint hair Black. Paint lips with a was of Cranberry. Paint eyes with Medium Brown iris' (outlined with Real Brown). Black pupils, lashes and eyebrows. Blush cheeks with chalk.
- STEP 7:
Paint base Premier Gold. Apply one coat of Krackle It over Premier Gold. Let dry. Apply one heavy coat of Cranberry over it, allowing it to crackle then dry thoroughly.
- STEP 8:
Apply Fingertip Gold to upper and lower dress (over Cranberry) and lightly on base.
- STEP 9:
Paint clouds with Gloss It. While still wet, sprinkle with Ultra Fine Glitter.

- STEP 1:
Basecoat goose Light Grey. Wetbrush Medium Brown to same brush and wetbrush all areas except feet and neck. Add Cream to same brush to highlight. With White wetbrush edge of chest
feathers and base of tail. Corner load and shade feathers with White. Paint neck and feet Black. Add small amount of White to Black to achieve dark grey and wetbrush lightly on upper wing feathers, between
wing sections and where wings join body with a Black wash. Paint markings on neck White. Paint eyes with Real Brown and pupils Black. Line between each feather with Black using a liner brush.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat Santa's face Soft Brown and his beard Light Grey. Antique with Soft Brown and wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush beard White. Basecoat Santa's suit Light Grey. Antique Santa's
suit with 1/2 Antique-It and 1/2 True Red. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush Christmas Red on suit and shade with Cranberry. Paint mittens and bag Grass Green and shade with Shadow Green. Paint
belt and boots Black. Paint Santa's eyes with Country blue. Apply Cranberry wash on lips.
- STEP 3:
Paint tree Blue Suede and apply a wash of Shadow Green and highlight with Cream.
- STEP 4:
Spray with Matte Spray.
- STEP 5:
Apply Snow-It to tree and base. Sprinkle white glitter to snow.

- STEP 1:
Basecoat wood Light Grey. Basecoat deer Flaxon Yellow. Basecoat tree Blue Suede. Antique wood with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 Toast, 1/2 Real Brown, 1/2 Country Blue, adding each color in random
areas on wood. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Highlight with Cream. Shade with Black.
- STEP 2:
Antique deer with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 Toast. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Highlight with Flaxon Yellow. Shade muscle tone areas with Real Brown. Wetbrush White on tail, upper
chest, ears, eyes and nose. Paint nose and hooves Black.
- STEP 3:
Basecoat Santa's face Soft Brown. Beard Light Grey. Antique with Soft Brown and wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush beard White. Basecoat Santa's suit Light Grey. Antique
Santa suit with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 True Red. Wipe off with soft cloth. Wetbrush Christmas Red on suit and shade with Cranberry. Paint mittens Grass Green and shade with Shadow Green. Paint belt
and boots Black. Paint Santa's eyes with country Blue. Apply Cranberry wash on lips.
- STEP 4:
Apply a wash of Shadow Green to tree, highlight with Blue Suede. Shade with Shadow Green.
- STEP 5:
Paint snow owl White. Paint markings Black. Paint bird White and shade with Midnight Blue. Paint squirrel with Toast and shade with Real Brown.
- STEP 6:
Spray with Matte Spray.
- STEP 7:
Apply Snow-It to base and tree. Sprinkle with ultra fine glitter.

Basecoat moose Deep Beige. Antique moose with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 Real Brown. Wipe off with a soft cloth, working in small sections. Wetbrush Deep Beige on top section and horns of
moose. Apply Black wash on bottom section and shade muscle tone with a Black wash.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat Santa's face with Soft Brown. Basecoat beard Light Grey. Antique with Soft Brown. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush beard White. Basecoat Santa suit Light Grey.
Antique Santa suit with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 True Red. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush Christmas Red on suit and shade with Cranberry. Paint mittens Grass Green adn shde with Shadow Green.
Paint belt and boots Black. Paint package with Premier Gold and Silver. Paint Santa's iris's Country Blue pupils with Black. Apply Cranberry wash on lips.
- STEP 3:
Paint log Black. Apply washes of Toast, Country Blue, Real Brown. Add Cream to highlight. Shade with Black.
- STEP 4:
Spray with Matte Spray.
- STEP 5:
Apply Doc's glue to fur on Santa suit and sprinkle ultra fine glitter.
- STEP 6:
Apply Snow-it on base and sprinkle ultra-fine glitter.

- STEP 1:
Basecoat lion Flaxon Yellow. Antique lion with 1/2 Antique-It, 1/2 Toast. Wipe off with soft cloth. Work in small sections. Wetbrush lion with Flaxon Yellow and highlight with
Cream. Wetbrush mane with Real Brown, add washes of Leather Brown, Toast and Mustard. Add Cream around muzzle and eyes. Paint nose with Rose. Shade areas around nose and mouth with Black.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat Santa's face with Soft Brown and antique with Soft Brown antiquing. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Basecoat beard Light Grey and highlight with White.
- STEP 3:
Basecoat Santa's suit Light Grey. Antique Santa's suit with 1/2 Antique-it and 1/2 True Red. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Wetbrush Christmas Red on suit and shade with Cranberry.
Paint mittens Grass Green and shade with Shadow Green. Paint belt and boots Black. Paint trim on suit Leaf Green and apply a wash of Shadow Green. Paint Santa's eyes Country Blue and pupils Black.
Apply a Cranberry wash on lips.
- STEP 4:
Wetbrush leaves Leather Brown and highlight with Cranberry and wetbrush Rust on tip of leaves. Shade with Black.
- STEP 5:
Wetbrush rocks with light Cream and add washes of Toast, Country Blue and Mustard. Highlight with Cream.
- STEP 6:
Spray with Matte Spray.
- STEP 7:
Add Snow-It to base and sprinkle ultra fine glitter.

- STEP 1:
Basecoat trees Blue Suede. Add Shadow Green wash on trees. Highlight with Blue Suede. Paint trunk and grass Black. Wetbrush trunk Real Brown and highlight with Medium Brown.
Wetbrush grass with Grass Green and highlight with Mustard.
- STEP 2:
Spray with Matte Spray. Add Snow-It and then sprinkle with glitter.

- STEP 1:
Apply two coats Clear Glaze to areas getting fired liquid gold. Fire at cone 05. Apply liquid gold to glazed area and fire at cone 018.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat sleigh's seat Cream and wetbrush White. Paint buttons True Red. Paint inside of sleigh with Real Brown, Toast and Black (blend colors to appear as wood.) Paint front and back of
sleigh Cream and highlight with White. Paint sides with Cranberry and highlight with True Red.
- STEP 3:
Paint holly on front. Apply Mask-it to gold and spray with Matte Spray. Peel off Mask-it.
DH1536 MANTLE CLOCK MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED: DH29 White, DH49 Premier Gold, SP07 Krackle It, pattern
- STEP 1:
Basecoat clock Premier Gold. Apply Krackle-it on clock. Let dry. With a fan brush apply one coat of White on Krackle-it. Trace on pattern. Paint colors as desired.

- STEP 1:
Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.
- STEP 2:
Basecoat skin Soft Brown, hair Butter Cream and dress Cream.
- STEP 3:
Antique basecoated areas with Soft Brown Translucent.
- STEP 4:
Wetbrush hair with Butter Cream. Highlight with Butter Cream lightened with a little Cream. Shade waves and around face with a wash of Toast.
- STEP 5:
Wetbrush dress with Cream. Highlight hemlines and folds with White. Shade around ribbons and neckline with a wash of Soft Brown.
- STEP 6:
Basecoat ribbon, neckline trim, water and scarf with Midnight Blue. Add increasing amounts of White to same brush and wetbrush highlights on scarf and water.
- STEP 7:
Basecoat clouds White. Tint them slightly with a very thin wash of Country Blue.
- STEP 8:
Paint continents and wings Premier Gold. Wetbrush wings with Cream. Highlight edges of feathers with White; shade between feather sections with a wash of Country Blue.
- STEP 9:
Paint eyes with Country Blue iris, Black pupils and lashes. Paint lips with Rose and use a very thin wash of Cranberry over them. Eyebrows are Toast. Blush skin with chalk.
- STEP 10:
Apply Gloss-it over clouds and while still wet, sprinkle with glitter.
- STEP 11:
Spray with Matte Spray.
DH1988 BLACK MILLENNIUM ANGEL MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED: Greenware, various brushes, airbrush, liquid bright gold,
DH08 Black, DH18 Medium Brown, DH15 Mystic Purple, DH29 White, DH30 Country Blue, DH36 Navy Blue, DH37 Cream, DH49 Premier Gold, DH52 Cranberry, CG300 Clear Glaze, G8 White Glitter, SP02 Mask-It, SP08 Matte Spray
- STEP 1:
Clean greenware and fire to cone 03. Using Clear Glaze, apply two coats to band around top of dress and to continents of world. Fire to cone 06. Apply liquid bright gold to glazed areas
and fire to cone 018.
- STEP 2:
Airbrush dress with Mystic Purple. Airbrush White lightly over folds of dress to highlight.
- STEP 3:
Basecoat rest of angel as follows: skin - Medium Brown, hair - Black, shawl - Cream, wings - Premier Gold, clouds - White , water around continents - Navy Blue.
- STEP 4:
Wetbrush wings lightly with Cream, shade wing sections with Mystic Purple. Shade folds of shawl Medium Brown.
- STEP 5:
Highlight water with Country Blue and then shade around continents with Navy Blue.
- STEP 6:
Eyes are painted Medium Brown with Black pupils. Lips are tinted with a Cranberry wash. Apply Mask-it to all gold areas and spray with Matte Spray. Sprinkle clouds with White Glitter.
