DH2409 - NEWPORT NEWS LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH01 Daffodil, DH03 True Orange, DH08 Black, DH24 Terra Cotta, DH29 White, Dh36 Navy Blue

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Paint finial lens Daffodil and shade with True Orange.  Basecoat remaining lighthouse and base Black.
• STEP 2:  Wetbrush lighthouse Terra Cotta (except for the top railing).  Paint port holes and window Black.  Spray with Matte Spray.
• STEP 3:  Wetbrush water on base with Navy Blue.  Add White to same brush and highlight water.  Paint bubbles at top of water White.  Use Fingertip Gold on the name plate and spray with Matte Spray.

DH2416 - HILTON HEAD LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH01 Daffodil, DH03 True Orange, DH04 True Red, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH10 Mustard, DH18 Medium Brown, DH21 Sand, DH29 White, DH36 Navy Blue, DH38 Grass Green

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Basecoat lighthouse White.  Paint windows Daffodil and shade with True Orange (refer to photo), and paint railing and two bands around bottom half of lighthouse with True Red.  Wetbrush tree with Grass Green and then add Mustard to same brush and highlight.  Wetbrush trunk of tree Real Brown.  Paint door black and very top of lighthouse Grass Green.
• STEP 2:  Basecoat base with Black.  Wetbrush top of base Real Brown and then Medium Brown.  Add Sand to same brush and highlight.  Wetbrush bushes Grass Green and highlight with Mustard.  Wetbrush water Navy Blue and add White to brush and highlight.  Paint bubbles at top of water White.  Use Fingertip Gold on name plate and spray with Matte Spray.

DH2423 - POINT CABRILLO LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH01 Daffodil, DH03 True Orange, DH04 True Red, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH10 Mustard, DH18 Medium Brown, DH19 Light Grey, DH25 Toast, DH29 White

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Paint finial lens Daffodil and shade with True Orange.  Basecoat base, roof, windows, door, rail and top of lighthouse Black.  Basecoat rest of lighthouse White.  Wetbrush roof True Red.
• STEP 2:  Wetbrush half of top of base and grass area above water with Grass Green and highlight with Mustard.  Wetbrush other half with Real Brown and then Medium Brown.  Wetbrush rocks Light Grey and add washes of Toast and Medium Brown.  Use Fingertip Gold on name plate.
• STEP 3:  Wetbrush water Navy Blue.  Add White to brush and highlight.  Wetbrush bubbles at top of water White.  Spray with Matte Spray.

DH2431 - POINT ARENA LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH01 Daffodil, DH03 True Orange, DH04 True Red, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH10 Mustard, DH18 Medium Brown, DH29 White, DH34 Soft Brown, DH36 Navy Blue, DH38 Grass Green

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Paint finial lens at top of lighthouse Daffodil.  Shade with True Orange.  Paint around lens and top with Black.  Basecoat rest of lighthouse and small shed White.  Paint doors and windows Black.  Paint roof of small shed True Red.
• STEP 2:  Basecoat base Black.  Wetbrush all but water with Real Brown.  Add Medium Brown to same brush and wetbrush cliff area again.  Use Soft Brown to highlight.
• STEP 3:  Wetbrush top area of base with Grass Green and then highlight with Mustard.  Use Fingertip Gold on name plate.  Wetbrush water Navy Blue. Add a little White to brush and highlight.  Wetbrush bubbles on top of water White.  Spray with Matte Spray.

DH2370 - LARGE LIGHTHOUSE PAINTED AS JUNIPER INLET MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH04 True Red, DH08 Black, DH29 White, DH42 Dark Gray

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Basecoat entire lighthouse with Black.
• STEP 2:  Wetbrush bricks of lighthouse True Red.  Paint railing, top, windows, and door with Black.  Wetbrush roof on top of house Dark Gray.

DH2415 LARGE LIGHTHOUSE BASE (UNDER JUPITER INLET LIGHTHOUSE) MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, FT02 Fingertip Gold, SP08 Matte Spray, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH10 Mustard, DH18 Medium Brown, DH21 Sand, DH29 White, DH36 Navy Blue, DH38 Grass Green

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.  Basecoat entire base Black.  Wetbrush all areas (except water), Real Brown.  Wetbrush cliff areas again with Medium Brown and then highlight with Sand.
• STEP 2:  Wetbrush grass with Grass Green and highlight with Mustard.  Wetbrush water Navy Blue and add White to same brush and highlight water.  Wetbrush bubbles of water White.  Spray with Matte Spray.

DH2370 - LARGE CAPE HATTERAS LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  Greenware, brushes, SP08 Matte Spray, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH10 Mustard, DH12 Leather Brown, DH18 Medium Brown, DH24 Terra Cotta, DH29 White, DH34 Soft Brown, DH42 Dark Gray

• STEP 1:  Clean greenware and fire to cone 03.
• STEP 2:  Basecoat steps and ledge around bottom of lighthouse Medium Brown.  Smack-dab this area again with Medium Brown and Soft Brown.  Basecoat bricks inside bottom of lighthouse with Terra Cotta.  Apply a Leather Brown wash over bricks.  Shade these areas with Real Brown.
• STEP 3:  Basecoat bricks of lighthouse White.  Paint a spiral strip around lighthouse with Black.  Paint top of lighthouse with Black.  Paint windows with Dark Gray.

NAUTICAL CHESS SET MATERIALS AND COLORS NEEDED:  greenware, brushes, DH01 Daffodil, DH04 True Red, DH05 Purple, DH08 Black, DH09 Real Brown, DH12 Leather Brown, DH13 Petal Pink, DH16 Flaxon Yellow, DH19 Light Grey, DH25 Toast, DH27 Midnight Blue, DH29 White, DH30 Country Blue, DH31 Leaf Green, DH34 Soft Brown, DH36 Navy Blue, DH37 Cream, DH40 Turquoise, DH52 Cranberry, AT05 Soft Brown Antiquing, SP03 Gloss It, SP04 Snow It, SP08 Matte Spray, SP12 Pearl It

• STEP 1:  Basecoat wood on all chess pieces Black.  Wetbrush with Real Brown.  Shade with washes of Toast, Country Blue, and Black.  Lightly highlight wood with Cream.
• STEP 2:  Paint rope on blue side Flaxon Yellow and add a wash of Toast.  Paint rope on red side Light Grey and add a wash of Black.
• STEP 3:  CAPTAIN- On blue side paint with Navy Blue and highlight with Country Blue.  Use Daffodil on belt, buttons, and stripe on pants.  Paint red side the same way using Cranberry and highlight with True Red.  Paint pants Black, skin with Soft Brown and antique with Soft Brown.  Paint captain's hat on blue side with Navy Blue, red side with Cranberry.
• STEP 4:  MERMAID - Paint skin Soft Brown.  Antique with Soft Brown.  Paint hair Flaxon Yellow and highlight with Cream for both sides.  Paint blue tail on blue side with washes of Rose, Purple and Turquoise.  Apply a thin wash of Midnight Blue on tail.  Apply one coat of Pearl It on tail.  Paint red side the same using Leaf Green, Daffodil and Cranberry on tail with a thin wash of Midnight Blue.  Paint eyes Bright Blue, with a thin wash of Cranberry on lips.
• STEP 5:  SEA HORSES - On the blue side basecoat sea horses Petal Pink.  Apply washes of Purple and Turquoise.  Shade with a thin wash of Midnight Blue.  Soften with Petal Pink.  On the red side basecoat sea horses Daffodil. Apply washes of Leaf Green and Cranberry.  Shade with a thin wash of Midnight Blue.  Soften with Daffodil.
• STEP 6:  LIGHTHOUSES - On the blue side basecoat lighthouses Soft Brown.  Wetbrush with Cream.  Paint top with Turquoise and shade with Midnight Blue.  Paint windows with Daffodil.  On the red side basecoat lighthouse Black.  Wetbrush with Leather Brown.  Paint top with Black.
• STEP 7:  SAILBOATS - On the blue side paint sails Cream with Turquoise on boat.  Shade with Midnight Blue.  On the red side use True Red on the boat and shade with Cranberry.
• STEP 8:  DOLPHINS - Basecoat all dolphins Light Grey and belly with White.  Antique with Black, wipe off with a soft cloth.  Basecoat all water with Midnight Blue.  Add White to brush to lighten color.  Apply washes of Purple and Petal Pink to blue side.  On the red side add washes of Cranberry and Leaf Green to water.  Apply Snow It to wave caps.
• STEP 9:  Apply one coat of Gloss It to all dolphins, mermaid's tail and water to give a wet appearance.  Spray remaining areas with Matte Spray.

CHESS BOARD SIDE AND CORNER MATERIALS AND COLORS:  DH09 Real Brown, DH25 Toast, DH21 Sand, DH37 Cream, DH30 Country Blue, DH08 Black, DH18 Medium Brown, DH11 Beige,  AT04 Red Brown Antiquing Translucent

• STEP 1:  Wetbrush all wood with Real Brown, then Toast.  On red side highlight wood with Sand and Cream.  On blue side highlight wood with Country Blue and Cream.  Shade crevices in wood with a Black wash.   Paint wood on sides and corner to match.
• STEP 2:  On map area basecoat Beige.  Smack dab over Beige with Medium Brown.  Antique with AT04 Red Brown.  Wipe off with a soft cloth.
• STEP 3:  Spray with Matte Spray.
